I, too, respond to "The Resurrection." Christ looks as if he had actually suffered the "harrowing of hell," and returned . . . how to describe Piero's interpretation? Christ's eyes express mysterious depths of weariness and sorrow. They are set in shadowed sockets but gazing steadily and unflinchingly at the future, the viewer, infinity? There appears to be a line running down from his left eye, a tear? Here is a face to believe in, to trust, to love.

His posture is erect. He is braced with his foot on the coffin's edge, poised between two worlds, holding upright the banner of the resurrection, committed to those who sleep beneath him and to all their brethern, asleep and awake, living and dead. His body bears faint scars of the nails on his hands

Congratulations for posting such a useful weblog. Your weblog is not only informative and also extremely artistic too. There normally are extremely few individuals who can write not so simple articles that creatively. Keep up the great work !.

What a moving story... You find the richness in every moment. One day, it would be wonderful to travel with you and Frank.
Glad you are healing, and also pleased that you were able to savor every interesting moment, some of them made possible only by your injury. How poignant!
